Speaking for Formal Setting (201611207)
This course focuses on increasing self-confidence, pronunciation and vocabulary development through playing language games, role playing, and discussing various problems. Grammar and semantics will be discussed in semantics. Various language functions and activities will also be used in this course. Original materials from different sources such as magazines, newspapers, internet, songs, and films will be used. Students are expected to carry out reading, listening, and observing relevant topics to prepare for class discussions. At the end of the course, students accomplish speaking proficiency for the formal settings at campus and community dealing with short speech, formal intentions, delivery of information, with fluent and accurate expressions.
